The Finest Chocolate Chip Cookies
After many efforts and attempts on making chocolate chip biscuits adjusting temperature, refrigeration/no pipes, various flours. . .these hailed as being the BEST! Hope you like!

3/4 cup unsalted butter

Extract
  1. 1 large egg
  2. 1 large egg yolk
  3. 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
  4. Jacobsen Guittard Chocolate Salt or alternative flake salt
  5. Chewy bakery style chocolate chip cookies, soft.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line two cookie sheets with either parchment or silicone paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flours, baking soda and salt. Whisk until blended.
  3. From a stand mixer's bowl, combine sugars and butter. Mix creamed.
  4. Add in egg egg yolk and continue to blend for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Turn mixer to low and gradually add flour mixture.
  6. Add the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough on cookie sheets. 5 biscuits to one at the middle, one in each corner and a sheet. Top with a pinch of salt that is completing if you would like.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until edges are crispy and center is still soft. Remove and let cool. Enjoy!
