After many efforts and attempts on making chocolate chip biscuits adjusting temperature, refrigeration/no pipes, various flours. . .these hailed as being the BEST! Hope you like!

3/4 cup unsalted butter
Extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
- Jacobsen Guittard Chocolate Salt or alternative flake salt
- Chewy bakery style chocolate chip cookies, soft.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line two cookie sheets with either parchment or silicone paper.
- In a small bowl, combine flours, baking soda and salt. Whisk until blended.
- From a stand mixer's bowl, combine sugars and butter. Mix creamed.
- Add in egg egg yolk and continue to blend for another 2-3 minutes.
- Turn mixer to low and gradually add flour mixture.
- Add the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough on cookie sheets. 5 biscuits to one at the middle, one in each corner and a sheet. Top with a pinch of salt that is completing if you would like.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, until edges are crispy and center is still soft. Remove and let cool. Enjoy!
